Language reflects thoughts and emotions and conversely influenced by them. The history of language walks along with the history of culture, they assist and inspired mutually. "Language is the product of society; it is an important component of human culture as well. The formation, record and transmission of regional culture depend on language, which is not merely the common language of a nation, but the lively and vivid regional language, that is dialect. Dialect is the regional branch of national language, it is the language used by people from local area, thus the liveliest element in language lies in dialect that is the carrier of diversified regional culture. While incisively and vividly demonstrating regional culture, the exceptional feature of dialect further indicates the relationship between dialect and regional culture.Northeast Dialect subordinates to North dialect, which is one of the seven dialect regions in our country. It is similar to Mandarin on phonology, vocabulary and grammar. However, it has its own characteristic. Moreover, more profound meaning is expressed in some concrete contexts in Northeast Dialect.Part of vocabularies in Northeast Dialect has mixed into Mandarin, while most of them are only used in Northeast colloquialisms. It is the powerful vitality of these vocabularies deeply affects Northeasterners on life, culture, art, religious and custom. It can be seen that Northeast Dialect is influenced by its geography location, natural environment, economic basis, humanity history, cultural background and ethnic composition. It is a unique culture phenomenon formed by deposition of history and edify of nature.Through the relationship between language and culture, the thesis explores the influence of history, nature and humanity on the formation and development of Northeast Dialect in Guandong culture. It emphasizes on the word-formation and usage of Northeast Dialect and clearly illustrates the local featured northeast comic movies, TV plays and short sketches as well as the artistic characteristics of song-and-dance duet.
