From the end of 19th centurary to the beginning of 20th centurary, the development of science, technology and industry transfered the way of people's lives. Impacted by the society transform, painting moved into a period of transition. The transition meant the painting transfered from traditional academy mode to modern style. It discarded or betraried traditional classicism and academy mode in Europe; broke through 3D interspace, solid exhibition, light and shadow, sole true life of object. Painting became much simple with more representations. A new language of arts began to be used. The paper is writen under this background. It introduced the workers of P.Gauguin, Vincent van Gogh, Amedeo Modigliani, and Klimt and analysed them from arts. The paper pointed out that their arts performances shifted to 2D and complanate during the period of transation. The new transformation was close to their emotion and feeling inside. With the introduction of oriental arts and original arts, they put new elements in their painting with variety, freedom.Through the analysis of four masters in arts, the author put it forward that 2D language began to come back in painting. 2D painting provided a wide space for the development of modern arts. It was reflected throught the products of 4 great masters, which proved and valued the shape and development of modern painting languages. Furthermore, the complanation made a great effection on the development of Eastern and Western Arts, and it impulsed the arts in a benign way in future.
