| It is a deeply pity that some excellent student was eliminated due to the poor performance in job interview. How to prepare for the job interview and how to answer interviewers'questions fluently? It's a question for every student, and a serious challenge.This dissertation is written in an attempt to train students how to use second language communication strategies(CSs) in job interviews. Communication Strategies can help students overcome communication difficulties, avoid misunderstandings and smooth communication process.In the second part, this paper thesis presents a historical overview of CSs, introduces the current research awards, lists and analyzes CSs definitions and various taxonomies proposed in the literature so far, concludes factors that influence the use of CSs, discuss the teachability of CSs, highlight the problem in the research of CSs, and predict the future vision in the development of CSs research.A study is conducted on a sample of 35 students with interviews and questionnaire. The statistical results of the study reveal the fact that CSs are employed by most of students, but they did not make good use of CSs because of lack of knowledge of CSs. So the application of CSs can be improved.Base on the front analysis, traditional instruction method is employed in the process of presentation and intermediate position task-based instructional method is conducted in the process of practice.Finally, the results of training were evaluated and corrected.In this thesis, I introduced the application of CSs in job interview, and I tried to put forward some personal suggestions related to CSs training. I hope sincerely that it could bring about more discussions and researches in this field. |
