| With the expansion and promotion of basic education curriculum reform, the reform of classroom teaching reform has gradually become the focus of the curriculum reform. Particularly to face the English teaching of the higher vocational education, the Ministry of Education issued the basic requirements for English teaching in higher vocational colleges. It definitely put forward the teaching target that practice is the most important and application is the purpose, to highlight practical use and aim of the teaching content, and to combine the basic ability of language communication with the actual ability of communication with the foreigners, to meet the requests that the 21st century economy has given to the people from higher vocational colleges.Currently domestic and international English teaching fields all relatively promote a task-based language teaching method. This kind of teaching method absorbed forerunner's research results in English linguistics, English teaching and the education psychology etc. It has very strong fulfillment operability in developing student's speech capability, contributing to the development of the students. But at present, the development and practice of the task-based language teaching method mainly concentrate on the primary school and high schools; the task-based language teaching method is not adopted almost in universities because of various factors. Up to now, how to combine the task-based language teaching method with the actual teaching in higher vocational colleges and to improve the teaching quality is an important subject in front of the English educators of the higher vocational colleges.This paper has studied the theories of the task-based language teaching method, and has carried on the applied experiment research for the task-based English language teaching method in higher vocational colleges, to find the concrete implement path of it and carries on science analysis to the experiment, in order to corroborate whether the topic research has the maneuverability and references value or not, and to find out a shortage in the task-based English teaching method in higher vocational colleges in order to carry on the correction to that mode in follow-up study. This paper has used the cultural heritage method, the experiment method, the test method, observation method and investigation method. At first, with the hunt of the academic periodical net data and the research of the cultural heritage, the writer has known the present condition of research about the mode and the progress of the theories. Then, selecting the classes as the experimental objects, the writer fulfilled the teaching experiment in these classes with the task-based teaching method. By using the research methods such as test, questionnaire, classroom observation and individual interview etc., the writer has assessed the result of the application experiment.This study has showed that the teaching experiment with countermeasures and the project taken by the operation, on the whole, has made a remarkable success. It not only has improved student's comprehensive applied ability of English, but also has contributed to the student's development of the non- intelligence factors. The proper application can raise the vivid of the classroom, making the classroom atmosphere more active. But at the same time, along the process of the application, the writer also has discovered that there were still some difficulties and obstacles which are not allowed to neglect, such as the limit of the teachers' condition, language environment, students' difference and old mode. After practice, introspect and practice again continuously, the writer learned from the domestic and international advanced experience and tallied up and induced some counter plans again to solve the problems in application experiment. |
