Pearls Sydenstricker Buck is one of few female Nobel Prize winner. And her Chinese background plays a very important role in her success. She was born in U.S.A. while growing up in China ,so she has double cultural backgrounds, which made her a very successful writer .But because of double backgrounds, she is also a controversial winner of Nobel Prize .Most of her great works which bring her great honor basically describe China or Chinese culture. On the shoulders of other scholars'research, the paper firstly involves if Pearls Sydenstricker Buck surpasses idea of her culture and her religion and analyzes the accept of Chinese culture and religion under the theory of post-colonialism in terms of her huge works. Secondly, by comparision with Luxun , we try to trace her position about her works .We can see a different China from her special women perspective in terms of women images which are in her works. Thirdly, it is the special Chinese feature that make her very successful because of her understanding of Chinese novel and skills. Finally, the paper proposes the idea that people in China get a different feeling from the people in western countries and analyzes the significance of studying Pearls Sydenstricker Buck under post-colonialism.
