| The secrets of Chinese culture going well hide in the dual superior structure integrating northern and southern culture. The Book of Songs as a Southern culture representative and Chu Ci as a northern cultural representative are definitely different from each other in the cultural content and artistic style reflecting the geographical and cultural differences. In the background of Northern Liyue culture and Southern sorcery culture, using Love Poems as the entry point, this paper interpret the marriage system and marriage conduct in the Book of Songs and Chu Ci, aiming at have a comprehensive and thorough understanding of the Chinese people's love and marriage in early times and further tasting the love poetry`s artistic charm.On the basis of love Poems culture, in the Book of Songs and Chu ci, this paper will study differences between the northern and southern marriage custom and marriage system. Comparing northern and southern different marriage concepts, we can see due to the impact of Liyue culture Love Poems in the Book of Songs reflect the rational thinking and the dual concepts of marriage seeking for nature,freedom and equality. On the other hand, owing to the influence of sorcery multi-culture, love poems in Chu ci reflect the hope for ideal marriage integrating the spirit and body both inside and outside.Finally, the paper have an in-depth study about love poems artistic style in the Book of Songs and Chu ci from three aspects :the expression style of romantic feelings, Love Poems characters and the aesthetic value . About the expression style of romantic feelings the Book of Songs mainly take the direct forms, and Chu ci express emotions combine with situations; The image of Characters in the Book of Songs is natural and simple ; in Chu ci, the image is elegant with perfect features; about the aesthetic value, Love in the Book of Song contains a heavy flavor of life in romantic world, while it is performed though fairy—tale love stories in Chu ci.
