Research On The Conjugal Ethics In Perspective Of Harmonious Society

In the 17th CPC National Congress, much attention has been paid to deeply"implement the Scientific Outlook on Development"and build socialist harmonious society. Currently, to build the harmonious society should begins with the building of harmonious family, for it's the basis of the society, hence to attain family harmony ethics between spouse can not be neglected. So, it is necessary and urgent to investigate into the establishment of new ethics between husbands and wives.Due to the Opening up and social transition, essence has been selected while dross discarded in traditional marital ethics with the continuous shocking between new and old mortal tenets under the imperfect socialist economy, especially concerning the equalizing between men and women, the consolidating of emotional factors in marriages and the establishing of family democracy. While some tenets have already been or now being deprived of their former function of norm, such as the surging of ex-marital affairs, family violence, high divorce rate and the in-equality in marriages involved with foreigners. These not only bring negative impacts on family well-being and stability, but a series of social problems, which impede the building up of harmonious society. As a result, much analysis should be made on the reasons behind such as the shock brought by the prevalence of the marketed economy, the change of family structure and the diversified value of culture etc. In order to establish modern marital ethics comply with the times, we should think more about the solution to improve couples'diathesis, the relation between spouses based on inheriting the essence of traditional ethics and referring to foreign experiences.
