The Study Of Interactive Installation Design For Fun Using An Open Source System

The development of scientific technology results in the reform of society. Science in combination with art is the characteristic of information age. The development of technology resembles the creation of art. It comes from the human perception of the objective world based on the knowledge and ability. Sometimes it has the characteristics of observation and experience which increasingly represents the deep scientific analysis and systematic thinking. Researching the application of interactive technology in design can make a full combination of design activity and modern high-tech, which will bring new opportunities for the innovation of modern design.Interactive technology on the basis of the high-tech technology is a hot issue in the front edge of art design. Using the interactive media technology, we can create an open environment, where users can interact naturally with this environment through a variety of sensor system.Interactive installation design comes from the combination of technology, art and installation design, seeking for the interactive product design integrating practicality and aesthetics, a multidisciplinary integrated subject. With the rapid development of computer technology and digital graphic arts, the concept of interactive controlling system has been gradually merged into the modern art design.At present, the external condition of interactive design application is already mature, but the domestic research is far from enough. From the perspective of the application of the interactive technology, this paper elaborates the basic concepts of interactive design and the possible technical problems focusing on the study of the interactive installation for fun in an open source system, which greatly enriches the modern design method and theory, prepares the theory base, research methodology and procedures for the subsequent study. In the user experience oriented society, the study fuses the experience of designers and users, creates the usable, functional and pleasant interactive products.This paper mainly makes a summary of the author's design practice and thinking based on the collecting and analysis of the latest science and technology literature. It pays attention to the combination of the theory and practice, uses the charts of symbols to assort with the concrete researches and design examples, which may provide new thoughts of design and new methods of creation for the integration of technology and art in design field.
