| Modern drama《Thunderstorm》, is a great masterpiece which had an epoch-making with significances in the development history of China's modern drama. It has been adapted into movies, soap dramas, ballets and more others form. This is the first time that, it presents on the stage as an opera form.The composer, Mo Fan, use the skeleton foundation of the original works as the literature. He abstracted the brightest ,expressive opera clues from the complex drama and make more skeleton on the origin drama. He compressed the drama into two acts which is actually four. Thus, more time and spaces could give play to the music functions in the opera.Through the script, characters, languages and more others aspect, this article researched Mo Fan's opera,《Thunderstorm》, towards the original work's development and creations. There are some suggestions for the composer which are worth to research. |
