From the Korean peninsula was split up to now, North and South Korea has not abandoned its efforts to achieve reunification of the peninsula, over half a century and more, both sides proposed many kinds of unified policies. Although the two sides developed some unified policies, but in the early Cold War, most of these policies are only a tool for political struggles, do not have the prerequisite and basis for implementation. After the cold war, the relaxation of the international relations had offered the opportunity for unity in Korea Peninsula. For unifying scheme and reunification, the disparity that in cognitions exists between North and South Korea. The win-win scheme that can achieve reunification has not been found yet. In view of the reality of the Korean peninsula was split, it is very necessary and useful to unify the analysis of the issue of unification policy differences between North Korea and South Korea's unification policy.This text regards the unified schemes of North Korea and South Korea as the research object, based on international and the situation on the peninsula since turning point in the role of important historical events of the time limit. Inspected the content,features of North Korea-South Korea's unification policy in different periods and both sides recognize the differences.With regard to research methods have mainly used combining andcomprehensive analysis method of historical works.First of all, combine the cold war background, it is analyzed the reason that North and South Korea make reunification by force. Describe the influence that the Korean War brings to international relations between Korea Peninsula and Northeast Asian in detail, offer the background basis for the fact that it is difficult to establish political trusting relationship between North and South Korea. Both sides began to adjust the military force policy, they proposed the peaceful reunification policy gradually after the Korean War.Secondly, it's about the systematic policy of peaceful reunification. Under the structure of cold war, the adjustment of international relations and rising of South Korean economic strength, the face-off equilibrium between North Korea and South Korea has broken at the beginning. The unified policy of South Korea becomes abundant. Especially after North Korea put forward in improving the "Democratic Federal Republic of Korea programme" , the South Korean three-stage unification policy gradually began systematic. The post-Cold War period, the serious economic crisis,nuclear crisis in North Korea that have brought the new difficulties to improvement of the relationship between North Korea and South Korea. Kim Dae-jung government's "sunshine policy" and Roh Moo-hyun government's "peace and prosperity policy" have played a positive role in promoted and developed the relationships between North Korea and South Korea. This can be seen as a good start of the first phase in Three-stage unification policy of South Korean.Moreover, carry on comparative analysis to North Korea and South Korea unify the difference on the policy content. Mainly from unified subject, principal, unified shapes, process, unify several respects such as the future of the country and carry on the contrast, summarize the characteristic that both sides unify the policy. It combined North Korea and South Korea's national conditions , it analyze awareness of the two sides on reunification policy, revealed the different understanding of the two sides on reunification policy.Analysis on "one country, two systems" in "Democratic Federal Republic of Korea " reunification plan and "one country, one system" as the focus of the "three-stage" unification plan of South Korea. Find the conflicts: North Korea insisted on retaining the two social systems, the first step is political integration, security and the absorption of South Korea to resist reunification.
