The Interdisciplinary Research Of Historiography And The Modernization Of China's Historiography Since 1980s

This paper takes China's historiography development since 1980s as the research subject and mainly pays its attention to the relationship between the interdisciplinary research of historiography and the modernization of China's historiography. It runs back over how the interdisciplinary research of historiography came into being and the development history of its own. It aims to demonstrate how the interdisciplinary research of historiography impelled the development of the modernization of historiography on the examples both in theory and in practice. Then, the paper explains that there is a close relationship between the interdisciplinary research of historiography and the modernization of China's historiography according to development of China's historiography. The paper holds a view as follows: the progress of China's historiography is mainly contributed by the incessant impulse of the interdisciplinary research of historiography; At the same time, the power of the modernization of China's historiography comes from the promotion of the interdisciplinary research of historiography; Of course, the modernization of China's historiography also creates a better environment for the further development of the interdisciplinary research of historiography; Just under the impulse by the interdisciplinary research of historiography, China's historiography has been transformed from self-closed to opening and from traditional situation to modernization. The development of the interdisciplinary research of China's historiography will also play quite an important role in the future development of the modernization of China's historiography. At last, this paper doesn't neglect to point out some weak points we have in the research of the interdisciplinary research of historiography and the modernization of China's historiography and these weak points should be taken into consideration during the future development of our historiography.
