Study On The Character And Change Of Spring Festival Culture In The Countryside Of Gansu Province

The habit, arranging life by the year has enjoyed a long history in the countryside, and the main life rhythm of it is the busy farming season and slack farming season. Most of the traditional festivals, particularly the Spring Festival, lie in the slack farming season. As the social changes getting faster and faster, the Spring Festival, as the typical results of farming history, once filled with the air of festival, has been an object of a heavy beater. In the whole course of history, traditional festivals, such as Spring Festival, Mid-autumn Festival, stand for good wishes and blessing of Chinese people. Except as an instrument of timing, they are given special culture values and emotion. Being a key part of special structure, the Spring Festival plays an important role in the run of the country life. Based on those themes, it means a lot to have a deep understanding of the Spring Festival, not only in the science but also realism.Village Tai Ping as a case in Lin Tan County of Gansu Province enjoys harmony and multi-culture which make it a good example represents of the country. The main investigation methods are filed investigation, which the interview and participating observe do a lot and questionnaire investigation plays a second role. Given space-scene, social texture, institution norm, material facilities, languages, participating group, rites, spiritual cultural are main respects that are used in describing and analyzing the Spring Festival of country Tai Ping. Based on interview and local documents, we find out the path and the reasons of Spring festival changing. Facing the modern tides, the fact that Spring Festival desalinization leaves no questions. If we let it go like this the Spring Festival will disappear someday. In the course of modernizing Spring Festival as a part of traditional culture, non-material, the power is weak. It is out duty to protect them and find new ways and ideas for them.
