The Several Issues On Study Of Scythian History

Scythians was an ancient nomadic ethnic groups who lived in the southern Russia steppe and spoke Iranian.In the 8th century B.C.,Scythians came to the southern Russia steppe with national migration. In the 7th century B.C.,Scythians had become a formidable political power through outward expansion antivities,and finally built up a strong nomadic empire.As a nation,Scythians was the typical culture of the early zron age nomads,which provide a certain model of the coming nomadic culture;As a countury ,Scythian kingdom played a key role through the outward expansion and intercourse among the ancient namads;As a civilization, Scythian civilization was on half of nomadic civilization development of the highest level,and have made historica contributions for the world civilization.Therefore, Scythians played an important part and had significant impact on the history of the ancient nomads,the southern Russia steppe and the Black sea.The research of the Scythians'culture can help us catch on the cause of nomadic culture,the nature of nomadic culture and identity,thus makes us apprehend the inutual relations among the momadic cultures,especially the inheritance of culture and the chang of races,etc. Besides,the research of the Scythians'kingdom can help us study the socio-political and economic character of the nomads,which makes us understand contributions of the nomadic civilization to the world civilization and the movement of the nomadic civilization in the process of intercourse with the agricultural civilization .etc.This paper consists of three parts.The introduction analysises the historical significance of Scythians'research, summes up the temporary situation of domestic and international academic research and the resolved issues.At last, it points out the object and problem , methods of research in this paper.Chapter one mainly defines the conception of Scythians and discusses the origin of Scythians,and clearly shows that this paper uses the Scythians in a narrow sense.Chapter two describes the rise and fall of Scythians'historical process, disscusses the history movement of the nomadic country.Chapter three is the main part of this paper which probes into the internal structure of Scythians'Kingdom. This paper reviews the kingdom's political, economic and social life ,then makes a conclusion that the Kingdom has experienced the transformation process from the clan system to the slavery system and from the nomads to settlement in business .Chapter four mainly discusses the Scythians'migration and impact after the kingdom was destoryed. The Scythians'migration explore its own development trend during the course of history.In the end,this paper concludes the historical status of Scythians from ethnic,nation and civilization.
