In the rapid development of social life informatization and economic globalization today, English, as an international common language, has become increasingly prominent. Under the requirements of the society and the requirements of the education reform, with the continuous development of the reform of college English teaching, student-centered become more and more important in a real environment for communication between teacher-learner and learner-learner. The class is changed from teaching to interactive class; the teaching model of classroom interaction has been applied constantly in EFL teaching. However, due to the level of China's English education and the large use of the traditional teaching method, there are many difficulties in using classroom interaction.This paper aims to find the problems of affecting college classroom interaction from the perspectives of teacher, learners and the relationship between teacher and learner. And at the same time, it will give the teachers some suggestions to achieve classroom interaction in EFL teaching. From this and for this, this paper continues to do an empirical study using questionnaire and interview techniques to collect data from classroom interaction in Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology. The survey shows there still exits some problems. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that teachers should take some measures to ensure the effective implementation of classroom interaction, such as creating student-centered classroom, promoting language production in small groups, properly employing questioning strategies, and building positive teacher-learner rapport, etc.. Moreover, actively explore some interactive models in practice, so as to let students make full use of their initiative and enthusiasm in their foreign language learning processes.The purpose of this thesis is to make foreign language teaching circles pay attention to the implementation of classroom interaction in college English classrooms. It also can make some contributions to the education reform, English teaching and research. Moreover, the paper hopes to reduce the gaps between theories and practice and to be useful to the perfection of our country's English teaching. In addition, it is also expected to promote the overall development of the college learners'quality, and to enhance foreign language teaching in college English class.
