University students with a Thanksgiving heart, can improve their moral cultivation, and promote their own development, and strengthen the credibility of its society. However, China's economy is undergoing a transformation and multi-cultural collision of special period, many university students have a weak sense of Thanksgiving has become a matter of concern to the community. The present research bases on the studying in the past of gratitude and aims to inquire into the characteristics of the gratitude of university students and also study the relation of gratitude, self-concept, social support. The study aimed concern flu-affected internal and external factors, to provide research data to enhance the gratitude level of university students, as well as to provide some enlightenment and education proposals for gratitude education.The research result is as follows: 1. Most university students cherish the opportunity, to their families, the community to be thankful for their help, and to take concrete action to return. But there is still a small number of students'score of gratitude are low. There exists significant gender and regional differences in university students'gratitude. Han students'gratitude-frequency significantly higher than that of minority students. The science students'gratitude significantly higher than liberal arts students'. The education level of mother has main effect on university students'gratitude, the gratitude of university students whose mother'education level is senior high school is higher than that of university students whose mother'education level is either below junior high school or university. Students'gratitude whose in the third-grade significantly lower than other grades. 2.The gratitude of university students is positively related to their self-concept, social support. The self-concept of university students is positively related to their social support. 3. Social support has direct effect on the gratitude of university students.
