Second language acquisition(SLA) is the processing of acquisiting another language after grasped native language. Second language acquisition research shows that first language transf-er is one of the important factors that influence SLA, and this influence can occur in the course of learning all the subsystems of the second language.Language transfer has been a controversial topic in applied linguistics, second language acquisition, and language teaching for many years. This research uses SMI iView Hi-Speed eye-tracker to explore the English spoken students and Chinese spoken students comprehending several Chinese sentence constructions. The subjects are native English and native Chinese students.Variety of native language is the between-subject variable.Chineses level is the between-subject variable. Chinese sentences are within-subjects variables. First, subjects comprehend sentences, then choose an answer among three choices under the sentence.Everyone should try their best to judge the logical subject of the sentence.Eye tracker simultaneously recorded subject's eye movement. Third, researcher uses BeGaze to synthesize data. Finally, Using MANOVA, the data of eye movement are analyzed in the early and late processing. The result showes that:(1) There were no significant difference between Chinese professional and curbstone students' comprehension and eye movement.(2)There were significant difference between English primary and advanced students' comprehension and eye movement.(3) There were no significant difference between Chinese spoken students and English spoken students' comprehension and eye movement when they read zhudongbing-sentence,ba-sentence and bei-sentence.The main conclusions are:(1)Markedness of sentences effect students' eyemovement mode.(2)Both Chinese spoken students and English spoken students show prototype tendency onzhudongbin sentence.(3)When the English spoken students read Chinese sentences, they are effected by their nativelanguage's grammar.(4) Chinese native students and English native students show both the similar rule and difference.
