The Research On Teaching Method Of Typography Curriculum

Typography, as a very important project in graphic design area, is always the designers'emphasis in design practice and research. In graphic design education, great importance is attached to typography, which is the ability that should be grasped by graphic design majors as well as the basic access to the other curriculums in graphic design area.On the base of the summarization, organization and comparison research of typography education practice, the thesis investigates the relevant educational experiments and materials, organizes and researches the history of typography and typography education, and analyzes the present state of typography education. What's more, it discusses the curriculum structure, the regulation of education contents, the making of total teaching plan and the definition of education purpose. By setting up special training and analyzing education results, this thesis researches and expatiates the teaching method of typography.
