As society has developed, it is necessary to know about the structure, current situation and impact factor of middle school students'psychological consulting requirement. Knowing about this not only get the first-hand information of middle school psychological health education, guiding its practice and makes the psychological consulting work have an object in view and suits the instruction to the student's level, but also can provide theories for developing middle school psychological consulting activity. The foreign researches on the domain of psychological consulting requirement have been done more rather than domestic where the researches about psychological consulting requirement are extremely rare. It's necessary and important to expand the scope of the test. First, this thesis summarized the researches both in china and the other countries on psychological consulting requirement. Second, I did a series of questionnaires with proper reliability and validity. The research objects are 1000 students from 5 middle schools in the municipal and the suburbs of Chongqing. We used the revised questionnaires of psychological consulting requirement to survey them. On the one hand, I explored the structure of psychological consulting requirement of middle school students. On the other hand, I also analyzed the current situation and influence factors .And I got the results:1. In Chongqing, middle school students'psychological consulting requirement contains five factors, including learning and developing consulting, interpersonal communication consulting, behavior consulting, values consulting and emotional consulting.2. In general, the level of middle school students'psychological consulting requirement is not high. From Junior One to Senior Three, the tendency looks like a wave,"W"and Junior Three is the highest of the"W".3. The main content of psychological consulting requirement of middle school students is learning and developing consulting. Concretely, Junior One has higher requirement of the level of the psychological consulting requirements on interpersonal communication consulting, Junior Three has higher requirement of behavior and values consulting, Senior Two has higher requirement of the learning and developing consulting, and Senior Three has higher requirement of the emotional consulting. Besides, there are differences in gender, family backgrounds and environmental backgrounds.4. The main reason why middle school students do not search for helping from psychological consulting is that they believe they can solve their psychological problems by themselves. Additionally, the second important reason is that they felt shameful to ask for psychological consulting. The way how to find psychological consulting is another important reason.5. Three main aims for those who would like to search for psychological consulting are to solve psychological problems, to make them happier and to find a listener.Finally, this thesis puts forward some countermeasures. Such as: changing middle school students'cognitive misunderstanding on psychological consulting in light of real evidence, propagating and popularizing the psychological consulting service to students, strengthening the consulting pertinency for different students, strengthening the countryside middle-school students psychological consulting service.
