Marianne Dashwood has four different views about landscape in Sense and Sensibility, written by Jane Austen (1775-1817). This study clears up the differences of Marianne's views in order to present the development of self-consciousness. Marianne has a lot of imaginations which evoke her sensibility. In a sense, this sensibility is self-love.
