Cultural heritage consists of two parts which are intangible cultural heritage and non-material cultural heritage. Cultural heritage is the history of mankind in the development of concrete left over from the ruins. It is the witness of the history of mankind and the cultural development of the track which has a unique, irreplaceable as the human profound historical and cultural memory. Therefore, China's cultural heritage protection work is helping raising the recognition of China's national culture and enhancing cultural diversity, highlighting the uniqueness in many aspects. The status of non-material cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage are the same. Non-material cultural heritage needs material carrier to exist. Also, the intangible cultural heritage is recognized by the world because of its special cultural significance. In the protection of cultural heritage, the best way is combining the two kinds of cultural heritage to achieve the aim as a kind of "shape of a god".China's intangible cultural heritage protection work has been achieved initial results. During the process, we did suffer some setbacks. But, all these setbacks did have positive significance for us. At the same time, the theory of intangible cultural heritage protection has been improved gradually all over the world. The new theory and new non-material cultural heritage protection base are increasing as well, such as the "Eco-Museum". This concept is very important towards to non-material cultural heritage protection. Different from the traditional museum of single rigid protection model, "Eco-Museum" insists that arts and culture should be protected dynamically to keep the original status in its own communities and environments. This would be a good solution helping traditional museum solving the problems during the protection of traditional cultural heritage. The establishment of "Eco-Museum" in China is still facing lots of difficulties. However, it would play as a guiding role for China's intangible cultural heritage protection. Nowadays, there are various problems for China's intangible cultural heritage protection which are listed below:China's vast number of geographical and ethnic differenceMaterials and environmental changesThe impact of foreign cultureLack of propagandaWeakening the national cultureAccording to this, this paper is starting from the historical streets in the city. Firstly, it is going to discuss how the non-material cultural heritage should exist in urban historical neighborhoods. Taking an example of Xi'an city, Xi'an BEILIN museum with historical streets around the area of civil culture and the arts and historical streets area to describe the relationship between culture and the arts in the traditional folk architecture of the region show patterns Street. Thus extended to non-material cultural heritage in cities Street history of the region in what form to present, which would followed by China's intangible cultural heritage protection of the difficulties encountered in providing a theoretical ways and means.The ultimate goal is non-material cultural heritage in the current period was more effective, better protection and inheritance down. On the other side, at the perspective of non-material cultural heritage , to discuss China's outstanding cultural and artistic heritage of the civil should show the form in which the blocks provided by the odd space in a better environment to be protected and heritage continued.
