The respect and attention to life caused ShenCongWen's works filling with the air of rich life consciousness. His western HuNan prose is not exceptional. For the purpose of excavating his western HuNan prose in-depth connotation, the present paper cuts into his western HuNan prose from life consciousness.ShenCongWen has been intimate with the nature and loved it since childhood, adding his inborn talent, all these caused his life to be able to form and save intuitively. And the lasted more than five years of difficult enlistment opened his life consciousness. Especially the local armed forces slaughtered innocent and the family members and friends'variable death touched his soul, from now on, pondering life became the deep and lasting topic in his whole life. ShenCongWen's life consciousness formation also had much to do with the influence of East and West culture."strong and rigid life consciousness is Chu culture spirit precisely", but ShenCongWen " intention and infatuation to the life's questions " indicated that he confirmed and agreed the Chu culture spiritually. In fact, the Chu culture not only gestated ShenCongWen's thoughtful and well-fancied mettle, but also had important enlightenment to his pondering life afterwards. The Taoism culture also enlightened ShenCongWen. Zhuang-zi's attention to humanity and life, Lao-zi's natural views all made ShenCongWen think life over. And this aroused him to be thirsty for ideal life style. Arthur Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, Bergson and so on, these Western modern philosophy of life Masters'thoughts and viewpoints also affected ShenCongWen considering life to a certain extent.ShenCongWen's life consciousness was presented in his western HuNan prose splendidly. ShenCongWen detested the distorted and mannered city life, when he stood in a thoughts'altitude and counter-viewed western HuNan, on the one hand he saw western HuNan life's plain natural beauty: Human and nature's harmony, vigorous and strong vitality, simple, healthy, warm love. Simultaneously he also saw chronic disease and ugliness of beautiful western HuNan life: The western of HuNan acknowledged, followed and even persevered their compressed and distorted disposition soul, the most prominent performance was ignorant and numb; Under the time extruding vigorously, " simplicity, diligence ,peace, honesty " in western HuNan life etc, the outstanding innate nature was drawing back achromatically. Therefore he praised and admired the beauty of life, worried about the humbleness of life, and hoped for deriving the happy innate nature in western HuNan life as his resource, then constructed a kind of ideal life style. With the perspective to western HuNan life style, we found that ShenCongWen was always thirsty for the life bourn of " harmony between human and nature ". So he brought honor to natural life style by summoning the ideal life style in essence. However, ShenCongWen ignored the antinomy phenomenon between historical development and morals progresses, which caused his thirst filling with puzzlement and hopelessness.ShenCongWen's life consciousness had the significance and the value which could not be underestimated. In 20th century 30's, when the revolutionary politics words controlled literary world, ShenCongWen still regarded life consciousness to be higher than all , and in his western HuNan prose he was crazy about pondering life, it displayed his pioneered and exceeded position in the modern literary world. And ShenCongWen's works with the rich life consciousness, on the one hand, opened up virgin soil for the natural life survival literature of ecology literature model, on the other hand, it became the medicinal comfort and the physical therapy meter when the people felt exhausted. Based on this, ShenCongWen's works would become a literature style entering the mainstream of words in the future.
