The Research And Study Of EQ On Minority Middle School Students From Pasturing Area

Daniel Goleman, a psychologist from Harvard university, is the first man who put forward the concept of"emotional quotient"(EQ) in his book—Emotional Intelligence. That is an absolute new concept compared with IQ, and which is related to people's grown-up and success. EQ concludes four aspects abilities: the ability to perceive, evaluate and express; the ability to promote emotion when thinking; the ability to comprehend, analyze and gain the knowledge of emotion; the ability to adjust emotion properly..EQ is a very important factor for people's all- around development. From the present situation of the pasturing area's students in minority middle schools, we can see that, the middle schools in remote minority areas really need EQ education.This paper takes questionnaire research method and made a research on the present situation of minority middle school students'EQ. The whole paper consists of four parts. The first part expounds the contents, present situation and necessity of EQ education. The second part mainly analyzes the result of research and its reasons, in order to find out the solution of the problem. The third part mainly analyzes how to find a method or way to improve pasturing area's EQ education.
