Probing Into The Municipal System Of Nanjing National Government In The First Decade (1927-1937)

1927-1937 was called Nanjing National Government's "golden decade" by some historians, the decade is quite important in modern Chinese history, especially the rule of the Nationalist government in Nanjing history. whether or not to be called "golden decade" , its importance for the parties were identified by the historians. As for local political changes in the municipal system, this ten years is an important period in the development of modern China in. In this decade, Nanjing National Government promulgated a series of laws and regulations of the municipal system, and all levels of city management authorities were established according to the law in major cities. Then , a comparatively complete legal system for the city system and urban management system were initially formed. it is a "new thing" not to be overlooked is this transition in modern Chinese society in the course of history. and its historical impact is direct and profound. Modern Chinese City system of local self-government started in the late Qing Dynasty, after the Northern Government promulgated the "City Zi Zhizhi," although the country failed to implement it , but it laid the foundation for the development of the city. After the founding of Nanjing National Government, it promulgated the Organic Law of three city and a series of other laws and regulations , in accordance with the law established at all levels of city management authorities, a relatively complete legal system for the city system and urban management system were initially formed. Part II: Analysis of the standards for setting up cities of Nanjing National government .
