"Enjoyable Spirit" in Chinese traditional painting, based on the consummate east speculative philosophy, through the refining of ink performance, to paint the shape and spirit, at the same time,to express the author's subjective purpose. Such the purposes of art with high content,embodied in Chinese tranditional figure painting, and near perfect within the development of its matureSouthern Song Dynasty painter Liang Kai is the representative of "enjoyable spirit" with his unique personality and talent .he was affected by the literati and monk ,combine his own temperament and accomplishment, liangkai created a "splashing ink" figure painting with his freehand brushwork, which started a new situation in figure painting. "brush work changed from Liang Kai ;look at the pitcher just as the ink is new". After the reform , the difference of artistic style between he and contemporary or former artists is more than anyone of the Tang and Song Dynasties, which impacted the Ming and Qing artists, up to the modern figure painting. We can find out the influence from xu wei in the early Ming Dynasty, Huang shen in the Qing Dynasty, Ren Bonian in the late Qing. and Qi Baishi in modern times, etc. "the drinker's heart is not in the cup; have ulterior motive; have an axe to grind. "The two sentences in《The drunk old man's booth》by Ou Yangxiu , seem to be better able to explain the "enjoyable spirit" in liangkai's painting.The purpose of this article is to originally explore lingkai's art form his unique character, his artistic creation and philosophy behind the creation , then to analyse the organic relationship between the three. The key is to analyse the "enjoyable spirit" imaged from the works after his freehand brushwork forming. To explore the cause of liangkai's "freehand brushwork" subject to his historical background, his unique temper and the philosophy of values which he accepted.and to further study this "Enjoyable spirit" embobiment in future generations of artists .thereby to point out the practical significance of "Enjoyable spirit".
