The Only Literary Perspective

Since the rise of feminism, the concept"gender"has drawn great attention. People began to review all aspects of social life from a sexual perspective consciously, and the discussion about the relationship between gender and literature must emerge as the times require. There are many phenomenons of gender in the literature. And correlative research has yielded fruitful results in recent years. This paper discussed the problem about literary viewpoint only from a sexual perspective, trying to expatiate on the formative process of the only visual angle in literature which is the sense of the sterner sex.We know that humankind rest on the matriarchal clan community stage at their earliest period. At that time, the lineage accounted according to the mother. However, with the incessant development of productivity, original agriculture and stockbreeding have formed. Menfolks who have the inherent physical predominance gradually play a more important role in daily life. The materials for production and subsistence became abundance which increasing established substantial base for the form of private ownership. Moreover, people have known the secret of procreation, and the sanctification of the fair sex has disappeared .So mankind began to scrabble for the authority of procreation. In order to leave property to their own children, they expected to change the existing system of heirdom. Thus, the patriarchy emerged as the times require. It is not only embodied in family life, but also in social life. Through a series of system, rituals and norms, it has been strengthened and it has become a patriarchal culture. In patriarchy, the male always occupied a dominant position and male-consciousness hung over the whole community. It formed discourse hegemony which was hold only by male. Through language, education, dissemination, and other various ways, the hegemony has been reproduced. The values which were dominated by males and the fashion of looking on issues have been provided with sociality unconsciously. A male perspective became social perspective. As a social existence, both male and female had to adapt the gender culture in the process of the socialization. They accepted the male hegemony discourse and the male feeling way unconsciously. Women were regarded as object in the life. Social values were always with male in the core and took their interests as the starting point to solve the problem, but women often became their accomplices. Therefore, from a gender perspective to review, the perspective of the entire society is a male perspective.As the production of a mature stage of patriarchal culture, literature also served the patriarchy. The bringing of literature have benefited from the increase in material wealth under the conditions of patriarchy and the improvement of the ability of thinking. Patriarchal rule has promoted the development of productivity and has created conditions for the separation of the material production activities and the spirit production activities in which some people had leisure to devote to literature. So, literature is a fruit of the patrilineal culture. At the same time, used by patriarchy, literature became the megaphone of male consciousness. This is because that as a social member, the writer is surly to be effected by the concept of gender .The consciousness of father right has been rooted in the hearts. In the process of literary creation, male's feeling way which existed intangibly infiltrates writings unconsciously. And the readers have long been accustomed to the works which hide patriarchal thinking and happy to accept them. Like this, literature repeats the rules of patriarchal culture. Even so, even if the writers themselves do not intend to participate in the reconstruction or resist the patriarchal thinking like those feministic writers, in fact they are still unable to extricate themselves from the male perspective in the creation. This is the request of literature itself. The objective narration which should be beyond personal feeling requests writers to apprehend life from the broader perspective. Such a viewpoint which stands on a certain altitude and overlooks all flesh must be non-gender and provided with sociality. It has returned to the social perspective undoubtedly. Chen Ran proposed the concept of"super-gender awareness". It was desirous to emphasize that women should write beyond their own limitations. This is an objective perspective by itself and it is same as male view in the final analysis. In other words, even if women writers, they have to consider the issue standing in the perspective of the community and still take male perspective.With the advent of the industrial era, large numbers of women went out of the family. They began to take part in various social activities. Woman's rights rose in the movement. Feministic studies Subsequent rise of the women's movement, feminist studies were prosperous increasingly. Women's writing has also become a trend and fashion. The gender's cultural dominated by males was oppugned and criticized. The traditional male perspective was challenged. People can not help wondering whether the male feeling way could be blur or even offset. But in fact, feminism and women's literature are not contradictory with the traditional male perspective. It is precisely because of the patriarchal society mode, the productivity developed rapidly and female employment came true. It is the product of patriarchal culture that improving the status of women. It was achieved only under the conditions of economic development. And the aim of feminism that trying for equal rights with men in social, political, economic status indicated that the entire society is male-centric. Feministic topic itself turned into the counterevidence of male-center. Whether created the absence of man or highlighted women's experience, women's writing was not divorced from the male perspective in the overall narration. They are still holding the conventional valuation of male awareness and mold the image figure according as social order.The times of patrilineal culture must still continue because it is the inevitable choice of social development. The development and progress of human beings need to have strong desire and power to conquer the world. And men played an irreplaceable role in this process. They have made important contributions to the social development. The tremendous progress of modern society and the rapid development of productivity make us known that the patrilineal culture still is a reasonable social manner. Although the status of women has improved, people are still educated by male values all the time. The differences between the sexes may seem to be natural, biological characteristics, but we had to admit that this is a kind of cultural randomicity and sociological structure. Not only the family, but schools, the media and other institutions are committed to reproduction this structure. Of course, we look forward to the development of feminism, and we believe that with the awareness of female independence, female literature will acquire qualitative leap. However, as a kind of historical"accumulation", the consciousness of male-center has become a transcendental psychological structure. It will not change in a considerable long period. In other words, maybe the male feeling way could have some migration, but there will be no fundamental change. So it is still the only angle of view in literature and the development of female literature is difficult to escape the rules of patriarchal civilization.
