Defamiliarization theory was an important content in Russian formalistic literature in the early 20th century, which was applied to the entire field of literature, and had a great influence on the scope of world. Defamiliarization was a way of creation, which produces distance beauty-between appreciators and works through deconstruction and innovation of tradition.The paper discusses the defamiliarzation theory from the angle of graphic design, and attempt to explore a new view of the development of graphic design, and some inspiration of it.I made a brief introdution of Defamiliarization.firstly,the whole paper was divided into four chapters.Chapterâ… briefly discussed the general situation of graphics.Chapter II discussed the value of Defamiliarization theory in art innovation, and the positioning of the theory in graphic design. Chapterâ…¢mainly discussed the theory from three parts--mind,technique and performance. which had a promoto in the development of graphic design.Chapterâ…£discussed the inspiration of Defamiliarization from the spread,gusto,and originality ;The final chapter summarizes the Defamiliarization theory plays an important part and has great value to the grafic design of china.The key of Defamiliarization of art is unceasingly innovating and renovation.To be a designer,we must always updating our mind,break through the traditional limits.In addition,a designer should always keep eyes on life,the source of ideas comes from your side, if we can change the perspective, perhaps there is amazing discovery.
