The Comparative Analysis Between Chengfu Doctrine And Rebirth Principle

Chengfu Doctrine is one of the basic doctrines of religions of Taoism and Buddhism respectively with Rebirth Principle,and both of them are religious theories concerning good and evil retribution,containing abundant religious and ethical moral thoughts.These two kinds of exoterica all tell people that,from the different perspectives,the whole existence isn't what each other stands alone,but the cause and effect chain which is placed in to contact mutually,and everyone's good and evil behavior would necessarily influence his destiny,correspondingly abtain the feeling of repay.Kindness creates good consequences so wickedness must lead to bad results. They provide ethics for the whole society,and possess a soul-restricted catholicity combines with ethical principles and virtues infuse into traditional Chinese ethical thoughts.Furthermore,they expand and influence traditional Chinese ethical thought deeply.Thus,both of them have profound and particular meanings in exalting and perfecting traditional ethics.Consequently,this paper mostly discuss their importances from the main contents of Chengfu Doctrine and Rebirth Principle,the comparison of two theories and their historical influences and social values in nowadays etc.the whole paper is discussed as following four pans:Firstly,discussing Chengfu Doctrine and its basic contents.Refining all thoughts concerning Chengfu Doctrine from Taoistic classic Taipingjing.Ihcluding:the connotation of Chengfu Doctrine,the historical and cultural foundations it originated, and the theoretical basis and the main contents of Chengfu Doctrine. Secondly,discussing Rebirth Principle and its basic contents.Depending on the historical development of Buddhistic Rebirth Principle thought as a clue to discuss the connotation,the theoretical basis and the main contents of Rebirth Principle also with its three stages;Thirdly,comparing differences and similarities between Chengfu Doctrine and Rebirth Principle.There are two sections in this paragraph,namely,to discuss their differences from both theoretical basis and contents etc.as the first section,then to discuss their similarities from both causal logical relations and social impacts etc..In the last,discussing the historical influences and comtemporary social values of Chengfu Doctrine and Rebirth Principle.To discuss both historical influences from the status and functions that they have created in Taoism,Buddhism and Chinese cultural and ideological history;Next,as the religious doctrines and ethical thoughts,both of them have the relationships with the construction and development of society,economy and morals.Therefore,to discuss their contemporary social values from this aspect.
