This paper is designed to analyze the journal's real literary face in the way of Cultural Studies. The author also try the ways of Literary Sociology, Literary Political Science, Literary Value Science, Literature Philosophy,and Analysis the "People's Daily" in 1980s, Compared with Similar journals such as "Literature Comments","Literature Theoretical Research","Contemporary Writer Comments". As a local journal, there is contradict between it and the main-trend ideology in a sensitive and open literary environment. But this journal played an important role in leading literary idea to an open state.The paper consists of three parts .the first part focuses on clearing the literary background to return to the historical spot. Section I is the 1980s' journal ecology, By analysing the journal management system and various meetings,to reveal the living environment of contemporary journal. Section IIPresents the publishing of "Contemporary Literature Artistic Trends",including its opening character, richness and maturity of columns,sensitivity On the major issues, and the character of timeliness,persistence, prearrangement.The second part starts in 1985, a transition period with symbolic significance. this journal made itself particular in advance of others . Section I is the cleaning of the realism, involve the development process of the realism and the specific breakthroughs in this journal. Section II is "Xu jingya case ", reveal the same position of this joural through editing strategy. Section III is "humanism case ", reveal the narrative strategy through specific analysis of two articles by GaoErTai.
