The Study On Artistic Characteristic Of "Yi Yu Ti" Prose Of Qing Dynasty

"Yi Yu Ti" prose are a new kind of lament prose for the purpose of mourning for the dead, which start from Ming dynasty to Qing dynasty, lengthen the whole Qing dynasty and end at Qing dynasty to the Republic of China .Many scholars agree to the general viewpoint that the article of by Mao Xiang is the first article ,thus it forms a special composing tide which extend more than three hundred years. We can also find the flexibility and impact in the lament prose of modern times. These "Yi Yu Ti" prose present the artistic characteristics such as the clarified,simple and elegant language ,fantastic and moving narrating, touching and sentimental emotion. "In fact, these articles of trivial matters are only the classical Chinese prose for the purpose of remembering the dead wife". The ancients use words to express and lead off their motion and thought symbolic. Generally speaking, "Yi Yu Ti" prose expressed the vivid and heartfelt condolences through the trifling recalling of the dead' daily life, so that they formed the charming lyric characteristic and peculiar artistic of narrative which not only carry forward the traditions of ancient lament literature but also recruit it. We can detect the motion that Chinese nationality treat love,death,life and the developing process and aesthetic characteristic of lament literature.As to the present situation of research, there are many scholars who have showed solicitude for it and start to research. Yet most of them only paid attention to such question as social and cultural background, characteristic of types of literature and fountainhead. Their research on the lament literary characteristic of "Yi Yu Ti" prose is not enough. In this article, based on the predecessors' research, I want to put it in the developing process of lament literature and focus on the aesthetic characteristic and technique of it through the point of view of its inheriting and exploiting to lament literature.My thesis consists of five parts.In the introduction, I summarize "Yi Yu Ti" prose' present situation of research and the thought way of research.In the first chapter, firstly, I summarize the developing process of lament literature. Then I discuss its inheritance and development on the aspects of lyricism,narration,writing technique as a kind of lament literature that based on the discussion of the traditional aesthetic feature of traditional lament literature.In the second chapter, I focus on its lyric characteristic and writing technique. "Yi Yu Ti" prose present the intensely subject lyric consciousness, and it is good at utilizing pomes as the significant lyric means. Its language also presents the emotional aesthetic.In the third chapter, I use the theory of narrative to discuss its peculiar artistic of narration which focus on the first person limited narrative of view,the flexible narrative time,anti-plot narrative structure,the double focus on the female dead and the one who mourns for the dead,the great narrative tension that is from family to societyIn the forth chapter, I discuss its value and the impact in the developing process of lament literature. "Yi Yu Ti" prose is not only the transition of lament literature which is from ancient to the present, but also the unique medium that we can recognize the society, times and the mentality of refined scholars. its aesthetic style also influence the later lament literature, especially to the lament prose.In the ending, I summarize "Yi Yu Ti" prose' aesthetic characteristic, and discuss the research value of the subject.
