| The divine of Bonism closely influences Tibetan folk in social lives. Tibetan divine is a religious phenomenon that derives from Bonism, the source of which we can discover in Bonism history. This research simply analyzes the effects, and objectively describes the action, of Bonism divine on Tibetan social lives.The thesis consists of three chapters. The first is the Divine of Bonism. It researches the concepts and classification of Bonism divine, and it accounts for the consciousness and methods of Bonism divine.The second chapter mainly studies the history of Bonism divine in different Tibetan districts from the primitive time, Xiangxiong Dynasty, Tubo Dynasty to the period in division. The contemporary Bonism divine in Tibet is only introduced briefly. This chapter explains Xin Raommiwo's accommodation of primitive Bonism, Yongzhong Bonism, with historical perspective. Tibetan Buddhism accepts the divine of Yongzhong Bonism in struggle with it after Buddhism enters Tibet. The strength of contemporary Bonism in Tibet has declined, but we can find Bonism divine in Tibetan Buddhism. Tibetan Buddhism regards Bonism divine as one of its local traditions.The third chapter mainly studies the effects and action of Bonism divine on the contemporary Tibetan society, which includes Tibetan Buddhism, reincarnation of living Buddha, marriage, funeral and Tibetan medical theory.From these researches, we can draw following conclusions. The Bonism divine is generated in Tibetan society and divine tradition of Tibetan primitive religion. Xin Raommiwo accepts primitive Bonism. This suggests that Tibetan Buddhism accepts Bonism divine for its own development. Hence, Bonism divine lasts to affect Tibetan Buddhism and society deeply. |
