NingXia Burg In Ming Dynasty

After having been set up, Ming Dynasty established nine stratetic forfresses gradually called "Jiu Bian" in order to prevent the remains from coming back. Nowadays, there are two burgs in the NingXia autonomy, NingXia and GuYuan respectivey. This paper mainy deals with all kinds of features of natural environment,strategic location,reform and stragetic defence of NingXia burg, Meanuhile, studying the relationship between NingXia and Mongolia in details and the monarches of NingXia burg, this paper revealed that as one of "Jiu Bian", NingXia burg developed rapidly in politics, economy, military and so on. As a western barrier, NingXia plays an important role in stabilizing Northwest boundary and standing up for the stability of frontier.This paper try to illustrate the changeable of NingXia burg and study the relationship between NingXia burg and the tribes of Mongolia. The paper provide some historical experience in order to coustruct and develop NingXia.
