The Southern Society is the first literature association in the time of bourgeois revolution. The history of modern literature appraises the Southern Society as the biggest literature organization, but it's strange that the influention of Southern Society's literature was't as larger as it's social activitys. Many researchers hope to exploit the real source of modern literature . The Southern Society once made the tremendous contribution to the modern history of literature, originally was the insurmountable bridge to the modern transition . What's strange, it was gently forgetten. This article pays great attention to the significance in modern transition of Southern Society. My paper takes the" nationalism"as the entrance, elaborates the significance of Southern Society. The "nationalism" is a culture concept, has great relationship with the reforming of social culture."Nationalism" looks like the political goal ,which also had an important influence in the literature.so I'd like to elaborate the relations between " literature" and "politic" of the Southern Society.
