| Phobia, a kind of mental disorder, refers to the phenomenon that leads to the excessive and unreasonable fear to the outside objects or circumstances. Notable anxieties and symptoms of autonomic nerve often follow with phobia when it attacks. At the same time, the sufferers try each way to get away from the objects or circumstances that they fear. The phobia questionnaire to university student was developed in this research, based on a great deal of literature summarization and the intercommunions with some university students, so as to assess the university students'phobia risk. In order to probe into the relation between phobia of university student and personality, coping style, four questionnaires, that is, PQUS, EPQ-RSC, SCSQ and SCL-90 are required to finish synchronously to 574 students from five universities. By investigating and analyzing, the following are the results:(1)The PQUS has good reliability and validity, which could be used as a good measurement tool in the following researches.(2)The PQUS is composed of four factors, that is to say, subjective experience, body symptom, behavior of escape and phobic thought.(3)The demography variable, gender, closely correlates with the phobia of university students. While the other demography variables, such as grade, major seems little relation with phobia.(4)There lies great difference between the group who are of high marks for the PQUS and the one that are of low marks for the PQUS in the subscales E, L and N of EPQ-RSC. But there is no difference in the subscale P.(5)The group who are of high marks for the PQUS scored markedly higher than the one that are of low marks for the PQUS in the subscale negative cope of SCSQ, while scored notably lower than the one that are of low marks for the PQUS in the subscale positive cope of SCSQ. |
