Relationship Among Personality Traits And Different Degree Internet Use Of Mongol And Han Nationality Undergraduates

There are many researches on Internet Addiction Disorder by consulting the data about the cyberspace psychology, but there are few researches on the normal internet use. Precious studies had interfered the relationship between internet addiction disorder and personality traits, but it is obscure and can't discover the relation between the different degree internet use and the personality traits.Total 1070 undergraduates were sampled from 5 universities in Inner Mongolia by cluster random sampling. They were asked to fill in the different questionnaires: EPQ, Sensation Seeking and Yong's questionnaire about internet use. The following conclusions were drawn by anglicizing the data:1. The degree of internet use score of the Inner Mongolia undergraduates are low; most undergraduates of Inner Mongolia can use internet scientifically and reasonably.2. Inner Mongolia undergraduates exist significant difference between sex score, the score of male higher than female significantly.3. The undergraduates of different grade have significant discrepancy in the degree of the internet use, but not between any two, freshman and junior, junior and senior are significant discrepancy。4. Inner Mongolia undergraduates of different nation, subject and origins have no significant discrepancy in the degree of the internet use.5. Inner Mongolia undergraduates have significant sex discrepancy at the aspect of sensation seeking.6. In the different grades, there is significant discrepancy between freshman and junior, junior and senior.7. There is no significant discrepancy in the sensation seeking among different nations, subjects and origins.8. There is significant positive correlation between the degrees of internet use and psychoticism and extraversion; There is significant negative correlation between the degrees of internet use and extraversion.9. There is significant discrepancy between the person of extroverted destabilization and introverted stabilization, extroverted destabilization and extroverted stabilization in the degree of internet use; also between the person of introverted destabilization and introverted stabilization, introverted destabilization and extroverted stabilization.10. There is significant positive correlation between the degrees of internet use and the sensation seeking.11. There is significant positive correlation between the degrees of internet use and the sensation seeking's two factors, the two factors are Thrill and adventure Seeking(TAS) and disinhibition(Dis).
