YAO He And Buddhism

YAO He was a celebrate poet during the Middle and Late Tang Dynasty.YAO's poetic artistry exerts considerable influence on later generations.The research on YAO He has got initial results by scholars continuous study and exploration since the 20 century.YAO He has been talked about keeping faith with Buddhism in the existing research achievements which seldom pay attention to the impact of Buddhism interest and Buddhism Philosophy upon his masterpieces,meantime these mentioned researchers fail to wholly rethink and grasp the essence of his works.In view of this,the author attempts to study this problem systematically at the angle of Yao He and Buddhism.This paper consists of four parts.First, I sketch out the social civilization background during the Middle and Late Tang Dynasty and briefly analyse the YAO's family culture ,for seeking the possibility that YAO He had the chance to get to Buddhism.Second,YAO He's relation with his friends,including his intercourses with monks and poets who had hermitical experiences .Third,the main body of the article,such a fact will be mainly exploud that Buddhism conception exerted influence on Yao's"Yong Huai poetry","Yin Yi poetry","Chan Yue poetry".Buddhism conception influenced Yao's spiritual life and creative context.Forth,I narrate the relative content of Buddhism culture information that was involved in Yao's poetry,such as"Xiao Qin Guan","Jie She","Su Jiang".It further reflect Buddhism's profound influence on social life during the Middle and Late Tang Dynasty.
