Giuseppe Verdi(1813-1901) was one of the greatest opera composers inItaly and even Europe in the 19th century.He was also the co-founder of Romanismopera.The novel opera created by Verdi not only affected later generations of Italycomposers,but also won the sincere respect of European.He became a great composeron the process of being loved by people,which is the honor and proud of Italy.Verdi'sopera made Italy significant impacts on music history of Europe in the 19thcentury.Meanwhile,and his art career itself was the opera history of Italy in the later19th century.Point to outstanding achievements of Verdi in the area of opera creation,arias willbe song by leaners among several of his works.The artistic characteristics andperformance styles of soprano arias in different stage are investigated through the deepanalysis of different creation periods of Verdi.As a learner of voice part of soprano, andunder the dedicated guidance of mentor, I song some arias of Verdi. There are manyoutcomes through singing these songs: understand the character and expression of voiceis particular important to well demonstrate the aria of Verdi of different periods;comparisons of performance style and art feature are necessary to describe the charactervividly besides some basic singing skills, which also has profound meanings of leaningof voice part of soprano. Based on the collection of vast majority of Verdi's works andrelevant files, this paper selects aria of soprano of different periods to investigate theperformance style and characteristics of art.This paper is organized in five farts.(1) The first chapter gives a brief introduction to the biography of Verdi and hisopera creation.(2) The second chapter presents the three periods of Verdi's opera creation.(3) Art feature comparisons of Verdi's aria soprano from various aspects are madein the third chapter.(4) Select classical aria soprano as representatives, performance style comparison and analysis are made in the fourth chapter.(5) Comments on historical meaning of Verdi and the significance of the researchof aria in the form of different period are illustrated in the last chapter.
