There were many Taoist sects in the most prosperous times of Tang Dynasty, inwhich, the Shangqing Sect had the most important influence. With regard to those whoLI-Bai often made Taoist friends mainly with,Li-Bai's political ideal, and his poets whichwere influenced by the Taoist,we can deduce a conclusion that the relations betweenLi-Bai and the Shangqing Sect are much the closest among all the Taoist sects.There arethree concrete aspects indicating the influence which Shangqing Sect had made onLi-Bai's Taoist poets.At first, the original images ,such as the female immortal andnatural images, were stem from the images of Shangqing Sect Taoist meditation. Andtheir structure of LI-Bai's Taoist poets were similar to the way of Taoist meditation of theShangqing Sect.At last, the space and time view, and the imagination demonstrating inthe poets, were relative to the Taoist meditation of the Shangqing Sect.According to thesemethods discussed on the above, we may find a new way to read Li-Bai's poets,especiallyhis Taoist poets.
