| As an important politics event in modern America, Affirmative Action hasprofound effects to the American minorities and women in their society life,especially to the black's employment, including the black's employment numbers,occupation distributing, and the black women's employment, etc.The thesis consists of three chapters.The first chapter is about the summarizing of Affirmative Action. In Chapter1,I have introduced the definition of Affirmative Action, the courses of developmentand the reasons of implementation. I have listed three phases to recommend thedevelopment of Affirmative Action, the period of development, the period ofchanging, the period of retrenchment. The implementation of Affirmative Actionare affected by three factors, respectively, the civil movement of the black, theliberalism idea after the world warПand the president election between the Publicand the Democratic.The second chapter is about the measures that Affirmative Action advancesthe black's employment. In Chapter2, I have listed four measures that AffirmativeAction promotes the black's employment, namely, guarantying the ratio of the black's employment, regarding the education and skilled training of the black,restricting to use 'Occupation Development Ability Tests' to the black andaccrediting special organizations to manage the black's employment.The third chapter is about Affirmative Action produce the effects and theproblems in the black's employment. In program 1, I have set forth three effectsthat Affirmative Action produces to the black's employment numbers, occupationdistributing, and the black women's employment. In program2, I have expoundedAffirmative Action works some problems in the course of implementation, namely,there is great disparity in the black and racial discrimination still be present. |
