On Wu Bo Xiao's Prose Art

Wu bo xiao began to write in 1925 , but his most sucsessful proses were published in 1961-1962 , which record the life of Yan an , such as . Wu bo xiao is one of the most briliant prose artists in Chinese contemporary literary history ,whose remarkable achievements in prose creation and unique artistic styles have been highly valued .But for a long time , the studies on Wu bo xiao's prose have been confined to a narrow aspect .Although some accomplishments have really been achieved , we still lack an overall understanding of his works . In this thesis , the auther intends to view Wu bo xiao's prose as a dynamic process , and carry out a close and historyial examnation on them in order to illustare his creative view on prose . explore his artistic connotation ,describe ,being a Chinese intellectual with a sreong sense of mission , his existence state as well as his great longing for life .The article ,apart from the introduction , is composed of three chaptersThe first chapter is"Follow , Wo bo xiao's tour of prose". A writer is always influenced by his living surrounding and his thought , which is also the key that we explain the proses of Wu .I will make full use of Wu bo xiao's ,, ,and , which had great infulunce on Wu bo xiao .I will find the same point with the society needs from these writings , make some compare between different proses and summarize the article chatacteristic .The second chapter is"Recall , the way for Wu bo xiao to find the aesthetic feeling".It is the recalled prose writen in 1961-1962 that can be the representative work for Wo bu xiao .In fact , at the beginning of Wu's writing , thers were lots of recalled work of Wu .So I can say that the recalling is the basic way for Wu bo xiao's writing .In this part I will make full use of some western theory about recalling to analyze Wu's writings .The final chapter embraces in Wu bo xiao's artistic style .From his unique artstic characters ,The authour comments on his art styles and features ,namly simple and thick .I will explain it from two sides: his language talent and widy knoeleage , his optimistic and the influence of Qilu culture.
