Self-Persuit And Growth In Neterogeny Culture

In the American history of literature, the novels of adolescents'growth have been holding a prominent status. The reason why growth novels have been prolonged in US is that in each age there were different themes puzzling adolescents'growth and different spirit of the times provided different thoughts and ways for people facing the growth puzzle. The constant changes of social environment and age spirit added eternal fresh ideas and vigor to the novels. The main cultural ideological trend of different ages in America obtained powerful manifestation in the growth novels, including typical American culture values, such as individualism, feminism, multicultural principle and so on.After the 1960s Blacks'Civil Right Movement and Feminist Movement, the essence of American culture changed.
