Tchaikovsky, one of the greatest Russian romantic composers in nineteenth century, produced many important works which almost referred to various music types. His piano music, with short length, simple structure and vivid music image, are nearly the piano suite composed by the heading programs, among which Piano suite The Seasons, Op. 37bis is one of the most important one. The writer hopes that the article can provide help for our performance and teaching through the study of the works and the analysis of Tchaikovsky's style.The article is divided into three parts: preface, body and conclusion. In the preface, the writer mainly introduced the general development of the piano suite, the status of The Seasons, Op.37bis in the world piano literature and the analysis of the significance of the works. There are three chapters in the body: the first chapter firstly introduced Tchaikovsky's life, personality and three productive stages of his life; the second further analyzed and argued it respectively from the point of music content, structure and expressing elements; the third, on the basis of the first two chapters, concluded four characteristics of Tchaikovsky's style; the last made a further conclusion on the writer's opinion.Apart from that, the writer put forward different ideas on the composer's use of the harmony in the second part of June-Barcarolle.
