Accompanied by communication of culture of the world, T-shirt hadbeen a special kind in the fashion area. It developed rapidly and had beenthe king without crown. From underwear with shyness to clothing withpersonality, T-shirt changed completely. The design of T-shirt had beenpaid attention abroad, but the orientation of research had some limitation.There are many books about research on T-shirt style from point of viewof pattern, but research standing on the whole is unfamiliar. Put conceptof visual communication to T-shirt design, the paper comprehended andanalyzed T-shirt design.The function and representation of visual communication have standon T-shirt design, discussing on association between theory of visualcommunication and method of T-shirt design, which was anexperimental research. It could develop the way of T-shirt creation. Visual language is a common way in the design area, is an effectivecommunication way of expressing the purpose of creation. Whenanalyzed T-shirt design through visual communication, a new languagewas finding, which gathered phenomenon to some common "languages",and then changed them to various articles. Meanwhile, T-shirt designhad obvious direction of marketing, having a tight relation with times.So the paper had stood on purpose of design, analyzed T-shirt designpopularly, which shoe concrete method and process of it, and thenincreased possibility of T-shirt creation.the paper had analyzed the relation between visual communicationand T-shirt design, the application of elements of visual communicationin T-shirt design, and the meaning of combination of elements in T-shirtdesign. Meanwhile, combined creation and design experience, shoeexamples about T-shirt design in marketing, and put forward somemethod on them. At last, summarized some experience and found newmethod about T-shirt creation.
