During the 1930s, in Chinese literary circles in the recent rises creative writers'autobiography fever. In the reforming time the modern writers take their pens and carry on self- writing. This group of writers'autobiography enables the modern autobiography to get rid of the status that has been attached to the historical, and has sent out the bright ray as an independent class in the history of literature. But as a result of history literature writer's big class principle, the autobiography creation as such an important literature phenomenon actually have not the opportunity to show face in several important history of literature works of China. The autobiography research although has yielded the certain result, but mostly is of an autobiography text case study, quite few of which is on the whole modern autobiography situation. Therefore, this paper chooses several autobiographic texts of the prospering period to conduct the research, in order to seek the new cultural status molded by the writers'self-narration as well as the writer's different status in this kind and the corresponding explanatory strategy.This paper consists of three parts.Chapter 1 is about the 30's autobiograpgic fever's emerging. This part carries on simple combing of modern autobiographies from late Qing dynasty to the 30's, and explores the reason for the fever. This paper holds that the impact of social revolutions and the influence of modern western culture have caused man to be awaken, but the autobiography is the best self-expression form. At that time the news publication industry emerged, scholars and newsmen played the role to add fuel to the flames.Chapter 2 is about self- narration: status lost and confirmation .This part focuses on text analysis, through the narration of the writer's language stratification, discovers the progress of the host's losing his old culture status with the stablishment of his new cultural status at the same time. Based on the above, this paper carries on the induction of connotation of the new cultural status, namely the self- in dividuality , intense self- introspection spirit, as well as the scientific rational spirit, and realizes that this kind of new cultural status contains traditional culture elements.Chapter 3 is about self- localization, namely the confession of one's status and interpretation. This part reads attentively through the text, discovers that a different writer has different, and organizes the autobiographic facts to interpret them revolving the self- status localization, for a more profound understanding of the multiplicity of the writers'new culture status during the reforming time.Moreover, in foreword this paper introduction the scope of its study and the involved theories. In conclusion, this paper simply explains the meaning of the 30' s"making materials to autobiographies and opening the way out for the literature", to seek to call for a serious attitude and great attention to autobiographies concerning their position in the history of literature.
