The Chinese characters recognition and obtaining the optic information from the Chinese characters involves that Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics Information, Artificial Intelligence, Psychology, Linguistics, Writings and several courses of etc. The research of the Chinese characters recognition have not only the very important theories meaning in the basic research of the Linguistics, and but also have the directly applied value in the design of the computer's Chinese characters operating platform, the Chinese characters input method's system development, the optical character recognition, the Chinese language teaching and the law court writing proof.In the frame of the single Chinese characters recognition, the research has taken the single Chinese characters as the experimental materials, and we used the eye movement instrument to real time mesure subjects' eye movement condition while they gazed at the experimental materials. Meanwhile, the author has taken the Template Theory, the Prototype Theory and the Characteristic Theory as the theories to support, simply inquiried into the Chinese characters's optic recognition graphics characters and the process of the cognition processing. It mainly includes the Complete Printed Chinese Character Recognition, the Incomplete Printed Chinese Character Recognition and the Hand -written Chinese Character Recognition. And, in the Complete Printed Chinese Character Recognition, the author mainly inquiried into some basic problems about the Chinese characters recognition, such as the Structure Effects, the Stroke Effects and the Frequency Effects of the Chinese characters, and the preference to the gazing position and the scanning mode etc. In the Incomplete Printed Chinese Character Recognition, the author mainly analyzed those subjects' recognition results and discriminating characters of the incomplete printed Chinese character, and the eye movement mode recovering Chinese characters' original shape. In the Hand -written Chinese Character Recognition, the author took the hand-written Chinese characters classified into four types in advance, then, analyzed the eye movement metrical variables and subjects' optic mode.Drawing a conclusion from the comprehensive analysis: The first, the recognition results are no correlative with the complexity of the Chinese characters. The shape character of Chinese characters can't directly affect our recognition processing. It is a cause of deciding the eye movement mode and recognition results that the degree of using and acquainting with the Chinese characters. The acquaintance verification is the premise of the Chinese characters recognition. The second, the small incomplete areas will not affect the Chinese characters recognition, and the recognition rate is above 95%. The Digital Image Processing is through five stages of looking for a little bit symmetry, the conjunction order line, and the right part choice, the whole Chinese characters choice, finally, the Chinese characters confirm. The third, the Man can directly analyse the Chinese characters but need to process the shape of the Chinese characters. The hand -written Chinese characters recognition should be strengthened many clues characteristic and many aspects activative characteristic. Besides, it should improve the ability of the processing the language scenario.The study analyzed the Man how to search, to evaluate and to choose the important clues and information from the mankind's optic characters. It tries to foud out the important optic recognition mode and regulations in order to improve the recognition rate, the appetency and provide any experience to the automatical recognition of the Chinese characters.
