The Economic Exploitation And Ecological Changing Of Jian Xi Province In Qing Dynasty

Ecological problem has more and more influence on our society nowadays, it even threats the lives of human toeing. So it attracts much attention of many people. Some historians try to investigate the changes of ecological environment and find some laws of such changes in order to provide certain experience and lessons for the exploitation and sustained development of present economy. Some scholars have discussed the changes of ecological environment in Jiang Xi province. These researches mainly put their emphasis on the south area of Jiang Xi province and few of them talk about the ecological problem of its other areas. This thesis intends to systematically research the ecological environment of Jiang Xi province in Qing "Dynasty, through which the author hopes to pave ways for the further study of the economic exploitation and ecological changes of Jiang Xi province and provide some historical experience and lessons for the economic exploitation, sustained development and harmonious social construction of Jiang Xi province.The thesis consists of the preface and the main body.In the preface, the author prescribes the reason and value for the study, defines the related concepts and also points out some deficiency after an overall review to the studying achievement. This thesis intends to make a complementary study in this field on much deeper level.In the main body of this thesis, the author, taking the evolution of ecological environment as the theme of the study and economic development as the dominant factor of such environmental evolution, tries to probes the environmental changes of four areas of Jiang Xi Province (the Plain of Po Yang Lake; the medium and low level mountainous areas and high lands in the center and south of Jiang Xi Province; the medium and low level mountainous areas and high lands in the northeast of Jiang Xi Province; the medium and low level mountainous areas and high lands in the west and northwest of Jiang Xi Province) in Qing Dynasty respectively. This thesis also gives a further analysis of some reasons which have caused these ecological changes of environments in Jiang Xi Province. A comparison between above four areas is made in the conclusion in order to give an overall description about the evolution of ecological environment in Jiang Xi province and the relation between the mountain-exploitation and the land-making near lakes. Some suggestions are also made in the end to better ecological environment.
