The Purposive Exploration Based On Some Correlative Problems Of Neologism Studies

Based on the problems existing in the process of neologism collection and research, through some important issue, the author speculated some concerning matters in two monographs and the works in some application language field, and put forward some suggestions from three main aspects ,language teaching theories, lexicography and linguistic intervention, which show the value of linguistic research.First of all, by contra posing some parts of two authoritative monographs, "modern Chinese" wrote by Huang Borong and Liao Xudong and "Modern Chinese Lexis" wrote by Fu Huaiqing, the author proved that it was necessary to revise some quondam language rules constantly through deep analysis of the problems on neologism definition, word-building, meaning transferred ways, and connotative meanings of vocabulary.Secondly, in the view of the sameness problem consisting in lexicography field, the author thought that several creative ways for the lexicographer could be granted by making a new arrangement to the entry words, technical paraphrasing, and the original exemplification providing.Thirdly, based on the analysis of the characters of neologism's two important developing steps, the author conceived several intervention models, aiming at making the macro-control of the language workers more active and effective.The value of this paper lies in trying to combine the language study in language itself with applied research. And introducing an idea of establishing a set of workable scheme, as a connection bridge, is the research purpose of this article.
