From all kinds of burial articles in the tombs of Tang Dynasty in Xi'an and Luoyang area, figurines which guard tombs become one of the standardized wares to the tombs without clear times for judging era., thanks to it abundant quantity and distinct develop sequence. Especially the Warrior figurines and the TianWang figurines in this kind represent the society culture a lot. The academic circles are focus on the image of that because it is closely linked with popular culture in that time. The writer of this essay Summarizes the archeological discusses this kind of figurines and go step further. This paper classifies the Warrior figurines and TianWang figurines in Xi'an area to 4 times, 4 types (with second types), 7 styles, and for Louyang area to 3 times, 3 types (with second types), 8 styles for the difference of model (the place and method with hands put with). The course of this kind of figurines development has connection with interflow between the culture in society of Tang Dynasty and that from abroad and cultures' spreading again. The writer of this article tries to explore the influence of Buddhism culture in the middle and lower social stratum, and impression of "Huns" in society of Tang Dynasty. The successful change of Warrior figurines to TianWang figurines insinuates the faith to TianWang in Tang Dynasty, the style of this kind became blurred and disappear at last. This trend also reflect the wane of Tang Dynasty.
