Study On Poetry About Huxuan, Huanteng And Zhezhi Dances

The musical and dancing culture was flourishing in Tang Dynasty, especially reflected on Huxuan, Huanteng and Zhezhi dances which were from West Region, so the poetic creation about these three foreign dances was also prosperous. The great number of these poems and poets, excellent artistic features were all made by the popularity of these three dances. The poetry about them was not only the precious documents of performance and spreading, but also the record on communication and harmonization between Chinese and other minorities; it even reflected the variation of scholars' mentality at the background of historical changing. The thesis summarizes the spread and flourish of there dances and analyzes the reason of this phenomenon, and then discusses the poetic creation and characteristics about them, at last try to analyze the change of scholars' psychology from their poems.
