On The Developmental Strategy Of Zhao

The developmental strategy of Zhao was influenced by history and the war, which has little been discussed up to now. This article has done a further research to this question by looking into the background, and the developmental strategy of Zhao, and discovered the inner reason for the developmental strategy of Zhao.Firstly, the academic circles mostly thought the developmental strategy of Zhao was from the southeast to the northwest. Through carefully reading the primitive historical data, this article states that the Zhao country developmental strategy was rooted in Zhongyuan(中原)and developed northwest and that the developmental strategy was originated from the relation between Zhao and minorities, Zhao's actual national strength, the development of Zhao race and so on.Secondly, Zhao's developmental strategy is mainly divided into three parts. The first is heading northwest and north, which is one the basic strategies, that is, Zhao Jianzi(赵简子) developed to the north; that Zhao Xiangzi(赵襄子) extinguished the dai(代) was the primary practice; that Zhao Wuling wang (赵武灵王) conquered Lin hu(林胡), Lou fan (楼烦) , Zhong shan (中山) concentrately expressed this strategy; Zhao developed to the north when the king of Zhao Xiaocheng(赵孝成王) and the king of Zhao daoxiang(赵悼襄王) came into power. The second is Zhao's defense against Qin in the west which may be divided into two stages: before the reform of Shang Yang (商鞅) and after that. The third is that Zhao consolidated Zhongyuan, and Zhao Jianzi (赵简子) defeated the Handan wu (邯郸午) and moved tha capital to Hahdan, and then Zhao Xianhou (赵献侯) move the capital to Zhongmou (中牟) , Zhao Liehou's (赵烈侯) reformed to strengthened its country power, Zhao Chenghou (赵成侯) contested with Qi and Wei in the southeast, Zhao Suhou (赵肃侯) constructed the south Great Wall of Zhao for defence.Thirdly, the reasons for Zhao's developmental strategy are: one is the clan of Zhao's own development history, namely,the Zhao race source was the national minority. Moreover, Zhao and minority's relations are very close, with which its developmental strategy changed along. The second is that Zhao had three main development basis : Jinyang (晋阳) , Daidi (代地) , Handan (邯郸) , which were the foundation of Zhao. Fourthly, this article, from a new perspective of Zhao's development strategy, also expresses a new understanding on the king of Zhao Wulingwang's " Riding and shooting in the Hu dress " (胡服骑射) , namely, the reform of "Riding and shooting in Hu dress " is the concrete measures of Zhao taking root in China and developing northwest.
