The contents of the thesis is about the tomb groups of Han Dynasty in Jing-Jin-Ji areas. Among these tombs the odest can be dated back to the early time Xi Han Dynasty and the newest are from Cao Wei Dynasty . There are the following contents in this paper.Preface: Introduce geographical environment, geographical structure of Han Dynasty, general situation of Han Dynasty and writing intention of the paper.Part one:According to primitive materials of Han Dynasty's tombs punished before December in 2001.Tomb types is studied and these tombs are classified into pit tombs,cave tombs,cliff tombs and brick tombs. According to different structural forms, tombs are classifiedinto various types. Part two: Among pottery buried in these tombs, the author pick out eleven typical apparatus and begin to analyse the them by the way of typics. Their developting principle is made sure and developing regular of every type is conclude.Part three: Among copper buried in theses areas. The author has pick out nine typical instrument to analyse them and has make sure the regular of of zhong yan and pot's developing.Part four: By analyzing the common relationship of various forms instruments, their different organization can be classified into nineteen groups. According to organization of instruments buried and tomb structure, these tombs can be classified into five groups. Tomb groups A lies in the north of Cang Zhou in He Bei province, the middle and north of Bao Ding,majority parts in Zhang Jia Kou and Bei Jing,Tian Jin,Lang Fang,Cheng De,Tang Shan,and so on.Tomb group B lies in south iof Cang Zhou of He Bei province,the middle and south of Bao Ding,majority par of Han Dan and Shi Jia Zhuang,Heng Shui, Xing Tai and so on. Tomb group C lies in the west of Zhang Jia Kou in He Bei province and the west and south of Han Dan.Tomb group D lies in the middle and north of Tian Jin,Bei Jing,Langfang of He Bei province,Dachang-huizu-authority county,Zhangjiakou,Tangshan,Qin Huang Dao,and so on.Tomb group E lies in today's Cang Zhou of He Beiprovince,Bao Ding,Shi Jia Zhuang,Heng Shui,Xing Tai,Han Dan and so on. Part five: Based on comparing the period of tomb groups and considering their sequence development, these tombs are classified into eight periods.Through analysising typical instrument and tomb, their absolute period is made. The first period belongs early period of Xi Han Dynasty. The second period belongs to the middle period of Xi Han Dynasty. The third period belongs to the late period of Xi Han Dynasty. The forth period is from Xin Mang to the early period of Dong Han. The fifth period belongs to the middle of period of Dong Han Dynasity. The seventh period belongs to the late period of Dong Han Dynasty. The eighth period belongs to Cao Wei Dynasty.Part six: By comparative study about Zhan Guo period culture between local region and nearly region, cultura elements of five tomb groups is studied to distinguish local cultural elements from foreign those. Fu and Ding of tomb group A is characterized by Yan culture of Zhan Guo period and boxes absorb Dong Zhou cultural elements in Zhong Yuan area. F-type kettle and G-type lkettle absorb Dong Zhou cultural element in Zhong Yuan area. And H-type kettle is characterized by Yan cultural element.Tomb group C has cultural elements of Qin Dynasty about tomb type.Tomb group D and tomb group A has close relationship.And so has tomb group E and tomb group B.Part seven: According to distributin of Five tomb groups such as A,B,C,D and E, by comparative study of historical documents, these tombs are divided into five areas of Han Tombs. They are,"the south of You Zhou of Xi Han Dynasty's tombs","Ji Zhou of Xi Han Dynasty's tombs","the east of Bing Zhou of Xi Han Dynasty's tombs","the south of You Zhou of Dong Han Dynasty's tombs", and"Ji Zhou of Dong Han Dynasty's tombs". According to the same tomb group with tow kinds of cultural elements,it is concluded that the common boundary of tomb group A and tomb group B lies in the site of Yan-xia-du. And the common boundary of tomb group A and tomb group B lies in Guan Zhuang tomb in Huai Lai county in He Bei province, While that the buried instruments has partly the same characteristic results from the migration of people in the Dong Han Dynasty .Part eighth: conclution. The above statement is concluded.
